Thanks a lot for your help. I just noticed another way of getting this 303 error. If you Embed the images that you specify as icons, they don't show in the 3rd step of the export release build wizard. You need to create a copy that of the file and use one for embed and one for icons.

Another gotcha that I just found is that if you actually embed one or more of your icons into your application, the Export process will not attempt to copy those icons that you embedded. This causes 303 errors, as well. In this case, you either have to copy the icons you want to embed and embed the copies, or you have to not specify icons in the XML file for the icons your embedded.

Hari, I'm able to get away with having the path in those tags. The relative path, at least.

As of Flex 3.2, the documentation doesn't say that it supports other sizes.

I confirm the PNG requirement at least when using FlexBuilder...

Also I'll add that the <icons><imagenxn> tags should only include the filename, not its path.

On another note, do you know if AIR supports other sizes in addition to 16,32,48,128?</imagenxn></icons>
